Known in the islands as "Captain Ron", Ron has been on or around boats for most of his life.

 

A licenced NZ skipper, _________  ​and designer, charter boat operator, fisherman, and sailing coach, he has spent more time on the water than on land, and can sail just about anything that floats.
His stories, laid-back manner and expertise boat handling will make your time aboard Freewind a memorable one.

 

When not sailing Freewind in the Bay of Islands, he is cruising the South Pacific and coaching young sailors at the Fiji Junior Sailing Club.
He is always happy to share his experiences and adventures with his guests, in fact...
